Physicians:
Theodore Maniatis, MD; FCCP is board certified in Internal
Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He
completed his Internal Medicine residency-training program
at Staten Island University Hospital and his Pulmonary
specialty training at the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey. He currently serves as the Director
of Critical Care Services at Staten Island University
Hospital and is associate chairman of the Department of
Medicine.
Michael A. Castellano,
MD; FCCP is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary
Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Geriatrics Medicine. He
received his Internal Medicine training at Staten Island
University Hospital and his pulmonary specialty training at
the New York University/Bellevue Hospital Medical Center. He
currently serves as Medical Director of Pulmonary Medicine
at Staten Island University Hospital.
Louis A. Sasso, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine,
Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Geriatrics
Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency
training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey and completed his pulmonary specialty training at
the New York University/Bellevue Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Sasso serves as the Director of the Staten Island
University Hospital out patient Chest Services.
Ralph J. Ciccone, MD; FCCPis
board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and
Critical Care Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine
residency training at Staten Island University Hospital and
completed his pulmonary fellowship training at the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He
currently serves as the co-director of the Staten Island
University Hospital Institute of Sleep Medicine and as the Director of the South Site
Medical Surgical Critical Care Unit of Staten Island
University Hospital.
Thomas M. Kilkenny, DO; FCCP, FASM is board certified in Internal
Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and
Sleep Disorders. He received his Internal Medicine residency
training at Staten Island University Hospital and his
Pulmonary specialty training at the University of Medicine
and Dentistry/Robert Wood Johnson Training Program. Dr. Kilkenny
serves as the Director of the Staten Island University
Hospital Sleep Disorders Center and The Sleep Disorders
Centers if SI.
Michel Chalhoub, DO; FCCP, FASM is board certified in Internal
Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and
Sleep Disorders. He received his internal medicine training
at Staten Island University Hospital and his Pulmonary
Critical Care training at the M.D. Andersen/University of
Texas Medical Center. Dr. Chalhoub also has special training
in Invasive Pulmonology and is Director of the Invasive Pulmonology
Service.
